The real value for the People of Having HIGH Company GOALS

These days companies and individuals feel a little bit depressed. They hear the economy is not good, the results are not good, the business is slowing down, all of the latter very good and sound reasons for not doing what we have to do and not achieving what we want to achieve. And things continue on and on in this format and sequence. We all know why we cannot do better. There is some kind of comfort living in this environment. There is always someone to blame and to recognize as being guilty for our own results. Well, you know living and working like this you will see that there is no inspiration in living n this way, there is any growth and positive results and real big success that we can achieve with this mindset. There is no real value in living and working in a company or environment like this. Really there is no real value for each of us.

Any human being, any person, any company who has ever accomplished anything significant any big leap & step forward in their results have first decided that they want it and then they believed it and then when they truly believed it they made it happen. They made the first step, the first small step to the big goal, then the second and then the third and every next step was more confident and bigger. Because we know that any big goal any big achievement in life is made one step at a time in the right direction. You do not build a wall by building a wall you build a wall one brick at a time. And there is one very simple truth and very basic that we either going to step forward into growth or back into safety. And there is no safety because everything is moving, expanding or growing so we either create or disintegrate. The real safety is developing us and our environment to meet and oversupply the demands of the market and the economy.

What is the purpose of the goal? We say the results or the achievement and I would like to add that, this is the effect of the goal not the true purpose. The real purpose of having a goal is grow, to be inspired and to really live, to have a good sound reason why you do what you do, why you come to work on Monday morning, why you spend your days and sometimes nights working and doing what you are doing. The real value of having a big and high goal is to move us forward, to draw something from inside of us that we did not even know was there. When the person is having a goal he is motivated, he is inspired, he is alive. When the person or the company does not have a goal they do not know where they are going. You may go to west and still go to west and go around the world without reaching the destination. When we have big goals we take big actions and think in big ideas, we become better professionals and people. When we have low “realistic” goals we do the same things over and over again and we get bored. We cannot have what we don’t have, unless we do things we have never done before. Michelangelo once said “The main mistake people do is not setting high goals and not meeting them but setting low goals and achieving them”. When we aim high we achieve high and our own benefits for remembering and keeping the feelings of our own victories and successes are much more exciting than remembering our mediocre results. Our success takes us to a new bigger success and our mediocre results take us to a more of meritocracy.

What is the real value for people for alignment to the corporate goals?

Real achievers, big companies understand the concept of aiming high. They understand that in order to be on the TOP of the industry they have to aim high and increase the standards of performing every day. Have you ever heard of any big success that was not a result of a high unrealistic goal. When the Wright brothers decided that they would build a flying machine everybody else told them they are insane, but when they did it everyone else appreciated their courage to aim so high and be confident in their belief.

When the company is setting a goal the goal is a real goal when all people believe it and take it as their personal goal. The goals are achieved in a much easier way when everybody is aligned with this goal. There could be found all kind of reasons why it cannot be accomplished but there is an equal amount of reasons why the goal CAN be accomplished. And when everybody accepts, believes and decides that this is the goal, the creative energy and potential of the people make it happen much easier. People start to work to take inspired action and everybody goes in one direction. The main thing is to keep the main thing the main thing. From personal and rather egoistic perspective I can tell you that the life of each employee, each manager within any company is going to be much more productive relaxed and easy when people accept and align to the company goals accept them rather than resist to them. Imagine than you come to work every day and you work toward a goal, towards something that you like and imagine that you come to work resisting to the goals and objectives, the company and the team is moving in one direction and your resistance and negativity is moving you in the opposite direction. How would you feel, what would your life be like. The real value of alignment to the company goals and aligning each and every member of your team is to get out the creative and exciting energy and create rather than compete and resist. Everyone is an intellectual human being and can make his own judgments and decisions what is the better way for himself or herself.

The first step is DECISION – indecision is the key to uncertainty. When people looking around for reasons without having a firm, confident decision they live in uncertainty and disintegration.

Set your company goal, set your own goal for achieving company goal, get really inspired in what you are doing and take a decision that you are the cause of your results. Things will never be the same after taking this decision. Let’s support each other in good and bad times and work together as a team for a happier, healthier and wealthier life. Any team and company can achieve any goal that they believe, that take inspired action in achieving it and enjoy what they are doing. Enjoy the benefit they bring to their customers. The real purpose of the company is to make the life of people more meaningful, to deliver them greater service every day, the possibility to communicate to be with each other, the possibility to have fun everywhere, the possibility to run a successful business on great technology. We are going to achieve the goal and in doing it in this way, it is going to be an effect for providing more value in people’s life. This sets us free; this eliminates the competition and puts us in creative flow of energy. Let’s think big, let’s believe and recognize how great we are. Let us be innovators and achievers in business and life.
